I would just like to take a moment and thank Gena Shvartsman Cristiani for my incredible costume. I have performed across the globe as a swinging trapeze artist and costumes for my act are always a source of stress. It has always been a struggle between wanting to be stunning, and a necessity for functionality. Yet, Gena somehow seamlessly found an incredible medium, and I have never felt more safe, comfortable, or beautiful in the air.  Gena has an incredibly talent to listen and understand what an artist really wants and needs. She is not only beautiful inside and out, but she has the ability to create costumes that allow other people to feel beautiful. And that is a true gift.

Gena’s costumes are amazing!!! Durable,comfortable, and they look fantastic!!! The best part is, if you don’t really know what you want, she will design something that fits your needs! She also knows what is functional for the artist so you will never have to worry about your costume when you are performing!!!

“Gena Cristiani did such a wonderful job designing my wedding dress. It was my most favourite project from the whole wedding. It was done entirely through email and Skype. She lives in Florida and I’m in Cabo so we never did a fitting, and I tried it on only three days before we left for Burning Man. She exceeded my expectations in every way. On our initial phone conversation, I explained to her that I envisioned a dress that was a mix between the Victorian Era and Khaleesi from Game of Thrones, and she nailed it. I wanted it to be constructed in different pieces so that I could remove the train after the ceremony and the corset if it was too hot. I ended up just wearing my bra during the day because of the heat. Then put on the corset and the train before the ceremony.”

My favorite and most beautiful investment in my performance art; a hand-made, custom, original costume by Gena Cristiani — Words cannot express how meaningful my experience with Gena has been!  From start to finish, her talents as an artist and her ability to know exactly what I want without ever meeting was spectacular, and most importantly, spot-on!  I wanted a piece that allowed me to show my sexier side while maintaining my class and integrity.  This outfit celebrates my strengths, while amplifying my features that I don't appreciate enough, to provide a stunning presentation before I even hit my first mark on the stage.  This item is one of the few cherished things I brought into my new start in Georgia, a start with only intentional items in my life.  Thank you Gena, for your time and your outstanding service, but most of all for inviting me into your lens for a brief moment in time.  I am grateful we crossed paths for such a fabulous occasion ️.
